Jimmy and Jey Usos father, Rikishi, seemingly picks a side between Roman Reigns and The Rock ahea
The dream match that the WWE Universe has been waiting for is coming true this year. The clash of Samoans, The Rock vs. Roman Reigns, is sure to happen this year with no proper venue confirmation.
Once the feud starts, fans will pick their sides and support their favorite Samoan in the process. While the wrestling veteran and Samoan cousin, Rikishi, has seemingly stuck up for Reigns through a subtle hint.
The Samoan Stinker took on X to post a video dating back to late 2000, along with Rocky. A seven-second clip of The Great One addressing the fact that he has nothing to do with Rikishi ignites their on-screen rivalry.
Rock’s further statement advised Rikishi to stay out of his life and not intervene, leading to a possible bout. The same now circles back to Roman’s situation with Rock, where the conversation would be for the latter’s sake.
Adding just a ‘blood’ emoji to the caption hinted at Rikishi’s support for The Bloodline. In that case, he supports the faction, of which two of his sons, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, are members, along with the Tribal Chief.
Rikishi, as an elder Samoan, would never back the idea of a civil war, but now that it is inevitable considering Roman’s reign, he has to choose sides in the box-office blockbuster match.
As Roman vs. Rock builds up in the coming months, another Samoan-esque battle will happen at WrestleMania 40. Rikishi’s twins, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso, will be facing each other since their tag team broke up at SummerSlam 2023. It will be exciting to see what side the father will choose in the clash of his beloved sons.
