Being a public figure comes with many concerns to your safety. Many people online have access to ton a of information about you that can prove fatal in many instances. For example, crimes like doxxing and swatting have been huge concerns to the safety of livestreamers for years now. Adin Ross and IShowSpeed have been recent victims of swatting.

Another similar incident happened recently with the popular Indian-American streamer, Ragnesh ‘N3ON’. The Kick streamer became the victim of a robbery that was caught entirely on livestream. On December 4th, N3ON collaborated with American rapper Crip Mac. After the shoot, he was returning home alongside his girlfriend, Sam Frank.

The content creators’ attention was then drawn to some commotion outside their vehicle. The duo as well as their crew got pretty startled. N3ON repeatedly shouted at Sam Frank to close the door as she started to burst into tears. Before calling for emergency services, Sam wanted to ensure that the situation was not a prank.

Like many viewers, Sam also thought that this might be a prank N3ON was pulling off. She swore that she saw someone recording and that it could be a prank. She confirmed with her boyfriend whether they were calling 911 or not. N3ON asked her to calm down as he was dialling 911. From his reaction, it seemed like this time both were in legit danger.

N3ON started identifying the robbers claiming that they were black with masks on. He requested the operator to send enforcement as soon as they could. He added that he is a live streamer and that the robbers have found their address.

N3ON also started freaking out a while after calling 911. He swore that he would kill those kids who dared to do this to them and complained about the cops not being there on time. a few hours after this entire situation, N3ON took to Twitter to address the situation. He claimed that safety was what mattered most and he could not explain the feeling he had in the car. Additionally, he is taking a break from the internet until the time is right.

“Safety is all that matters. that was an eye opener. i love you guys. that feeling i had sitting in that car couldn’t be explained. I’m sorry to anyone who i hurt. Taking a break i’ll be back when the time is right.“

It is still unclear as to whether this entire situation is scripted or not. The reactions of the victims of the incident make it seem that the situation happened. However, many fans have pointed out that N3ON is prone to pulling out stunts such as this in the past for views. Additionally, they claim that it was too convenient that the entire situation was caught on stream and the cameraman did not stop filming despite a threat to his life.
