Youre a dog..I Love You Aces star Kelsey Plum barked at NFL GOAT Tom Brady before put
At Tuesday’s WNBA game between the Las Vegas Aces and the Connecticut Sun, Tom Brady sat courtside. Kelsey Plum of the Aces, a longtime fan of Brady, welcomed him by barking like a dog. “I dapped him up, gave him a big hug, and I was like ‘Man, you’re a dog, I love you,'” Plum said. The reigning WNBA Sixth Woman of the Year has long been a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback, referring to him as her “favorite athlete” in the process.
The 27-year-old admitted that she wanted to make her meeting with Brady one he would never forget. When Las Vegas staff employees told her Brady would be sitting courtside at Michelob ULTRA Arena, she assumed they were playing a joke on her. Even so, she attempted to keep a cool head – at least at first. “Don’t say anything,” she urged herself, and she concentrated on the game at hand. Plum, on the other hand, shifted radically once she “locked eyes with him.”
Revamping into one of the best players in WNBA – Kelsey Plum
Kelsey Plum came into the league during the 2017 WNBA draft where the San Antonio Stars drafted her. After a couple of years in the league, she tore her Achilles tendon during an offseason training in June 2020. She knew it would be a long road back, but she was determined to continue where she had left off. Plum actually accomplished that in 2021. She had one of her greatest seasons and was a vital player as the Aces made yet another postseason push. She was still hungry for more. She made it plain before dissing the bench this season. She’s proven that over the course of eight games.
To those who are not aware, she is averaging 18.1 points (seventh in the league) and 5.8 assists (fourth in the league), both of which would be career highs if she stays in the race. She’s shooting 42.6 percent from the field and 47.3 percent of her 3-point shots on 6.9 attempts per game, which is a career best. Under first-year head coach Becky Hammon, the Aces (7-1) have gotten off to the greatest start in the WNBA with Plum’s play being one of the bright spots. Plum’s ability to score with the best of them last year was impressive, but her mix of filling it up and playmaking for teammates has elevated her game to new heights.

Plum meets the NFL GOAT – Tom Brady
Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion and considered to be one of the greatest athletes of all time, arrived at the Michelob Ultra Arena inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino to see the Las Vegas Aces take on the Connecticut Sun from courtside. And while Brady was getting a taste of the WNBA, he probably didn’t realize he was also getting a closer look at his greatest admirer, Las Vegas Aces point guard Kelsey Plum.
Plum scored 18 points in the Aces’ triumph, but her biggest win of the night came after halftime, when she got to meet Brady, her all-time favorite athlete. “Tom Brady is my favorite athlete,” Plum said. “They came before the game and said ‘Listen, Tom Brady is coming to the game,’ and I said ‘Shut up, no he’s not’.” For the seven-time Super Bowl winner, the point guard put on a performance. Plum led the Aces with 18 points and a game-high seven assists in an 89-81 win against the league MVP and the top-ranked Sun.
She did it with flair, too. Plum claimed she “looked at him and I was like ‘Yeah,'” adding a smile after scoring her third three-pointer of the game, this one a step-back.
